Policy

The Council engages with parliamentarians and others to inform policy and promote debate about bioethics issues.

This includes running events for parliamentarians, producing briefing papers for debates on subjects of interest and responding to policy consultations. A list of policy documents can be found below.

The Council has no political agenda and it perceives its independence as critical to help maintain public trust in its work.
