Animation on clinical research with young people translated into Mandarin
We are pleased to announce that the Council’s animation ‘Health research: making the right decision for me’ is now available in Mandarin. The translation was generously carried out by the National Clinical Trials Institute at the Children’s Hospital and Zhejiang University School of Medicine in Hangzhou, China, in collaboration with Mosaic Films.
The original animation was produced during the Council’s project exploring the ethics of involving children and young people in health research, and the English version has been viewed more than 5,000 times since its launch in May 2015. The script was developed following a workshop with young people aged 10-18.
The animation has also been translated into Spanish and Arabic and the Council extends its thanks to all the people who have been involved in the translations.
