The care and treatment of children and adolescents in relation to their gender identity in the UK (2021)

The terms of reference for this project are:

• to examine and consider ethical issues arising in the provision of healthcare for children and adolescents (up to the age of 18) in relation to their gender identity;
• to contribute information and insight on those ethical issues to policy, parliamentary, professional, and public debates; and
• to prepare and publish a report which draws conclusions to help guide the development of policy and provision of services in this area.
