Report6th March 2025

The evidence presented in this report is a much-needed contribution to the national conversation on assisted dying. It delves deeper than opinion polls, giving insight into the underlying factors that influence how people living in England think and feel about assisted dying and what their priorities are regarding a possible change in the law.
The report is written by Hopkins Van Mil (HVM), a specialist deliberative social research agency, who we commissioned to design and deliver this public engagement project. They worked with partners M.E.L Research and the Sortition Foundation.
