The Council has published a teaching resource based on its 2009 report 'Dementia: ethical issues'.

The resource can be used in a wide variety of settings including community groups, medical training, care homes, health care courses and schools. The resource includes an adapted version of the ethical framework for dementia that underpins many of the Council's recommendations for dementia policy. It also includes a set of scenarios that represent ethical dilemmas arising for people with dementia and their carers. The scenarios were originally developed by Opinion Leader, in partnership with the Council, for use at a deliberative workshop with members of the public.
