Professor David Price: 1954–2012

The Council was saddened and shocked to hear that Professor David Price died on 3 January 2012.

David was a member of the Council’s recent Working Party on the donation of human bodies, which published its report in October 2011. He was a popular and dedicated member of the group, highly valued not only for his expertise in the legal issues surrounding organ and tissue donation but also for the enthusiasm, intellectual rigour, and tact that he brought to Working Party discussions.

Other members of the Working Party have expressed their high esteem for David, and their sadness at his early death. All at the Council found him a pleasure to work with.
