The Council is currently looking to recruit an Assistant Director, to organise and support working parties dealing with some of the most critical and interesting issues in the field of bioethics.

Assistant Director

Salary range: £45,275 - £50,674 As part of our small, dedicated team, you will work with a wide range of academics, professionals, policy-makers and others to prepare, draft and publish reports, and to represent and promote the work of the Council. As part of the senior management team, you will be involved with the strategic development of the Council’s work. Candidates will need a sound understanding of both science and ethics; a strong academic background in a relevant discipline; excellent drafting and organisational skills; energy, motivation, and the ability to work independently as well as in small teams. This is an excellent opportunity for those interested in the high-profile area of bioethics, providing an opportunity to work closely in the development of policy and the promotion of debate in bioethics.
