The COVID-19 pandemic has brought uncertainty and disruption to our everyday lives. During this time, we are continuing with our programme of work as much as we’re able, while recognising that we may need to adapt as the situation changes.
We are also considering how we might use our unique position to offer advice and guidance during this time. We have created a new section on our website with our material relating to the COVID-19 outbreak.
We are fortunate at the Nuffield Council on Bioethics to be able to do most of our work remotely, though a number of planned meetings have been or will be affected. We will be looking at ways of conducting these remotely, or of rescheduling. Our office will be shut for a minimum of two weeks (until 31 March at the earliest). During that time, we will still be contactable by phone or email, as normal.
