Danielle Hamm

Danielle has been the Director of the Nuffield Council on Bioethics since June 2021. Before this she held prominent roles across the Charity sector, including becoming the first Director of the end of life charity, Compassion in Dying in 2012 and leading the public affairs and policy directorate at Rethink Mental Illness from 2015-2020; Danielle was seconded to the Independent Review of the Mental Health Act team in 2018. Prior to this Danielle was the Ethics lead at the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority and an Ethics Advisor to the British Medical Association.
