In September 2016, the Nuffield Council on Bioethics began an in-depth inquiry into the ethical issues raised by genome editing in human reproduction. The findings and recommendations of this inquiry will be published on 17 July.
On 23 July, we will be holding a conference where members of the Council’s working group and invited speakers will discuss the main themes and recommendations of the inquiry, their potential implications, and wider questions about the ethics, science, applications, and governance of human genome editing.
This event is free and open to all, but places are limited. We ask that you please register your interest.
See our events page for updates. More information about the programme will be released shortly.
